Colin Palmer
Colin Palmer is an experienced appraiser of Sporting Memorabilia with over 20 years of experience. In 1999, he moved to Phillips Fine Art Auctioneers and headed the Golf, Football and Sporting Memorabilia Department worldwide. Later, he adopted the same role for Bonhams Auctioneers. During these years he conducted Golf Club antiques valuations at numerous golf clubs, including Royal Lytham & St.Annes and Royal Troon. He has also appraised important Football Memorabilia collections, including those at The San Siro Stadium, Milan and The English Football Association. Other notable achievements, include: travelling to Uruguay to secure an important Football World Cup memorabilia collection and hosting a successful two-day auction of Manchester United memorabilia at Old Trafford.
Colin has been a member of The British Golf Collectors Society for over twenty years, has written and produced four books on different aspects of golf history and is an Honourary Life Member of Cupar Golf Club, the oldest surviving 9 hole golf course in the world..
Roy Conner
Roy is a highly respected specialist in all aspects of football memorabilia and associated antiques.
He has been a regular attendee at dedicated football memorabilia auctions over many years and always has a great appreciation of current market values.
Currently, Roy provides consultancy to an auction house dedicated to selling football & sporting memorabilia. His knowledge of the historical side of Manchester City and Manchester United combined, is probably second to none!
Brendan Casey
A founder member of the British Golf Collectors Society, Brendan has run his own Sporting Antiques business since 1987. He has a strong all-around knowledge of memorabilia related to many sports.
Previously, Brendan was the Sporting Memorabilia Specialist for Bonham Brooks in London. He has attended many major Golf, Tennis and Sporting Memorabilia auctions since the 1980’s.
